Southeastern Ecumenical Ministry (SEM) is an organization of 26 churches in the Anderson, Mt. Washington, and Milford areas of Hamilton County and in Western Clermont County. SEM originally joined together in ministry of several areas, such as community development, justice, and human needs. AHCC has been involved with and supporting SEM since its inception.
In recent years, SEM has focused its efforts largely on its hunger program via the SEM Food Pantry, a client-choice food pantry that enables members to choose their own food like they would at a grocery store rather than having bags of food pre-packaged for them by pantry staff. In 2020, the SEM Food Pantry moved to its new location at 2020 Beechmont Avenue and has allowed them to serve even more clients.
AHCC is represented on the SEM Board and our members contribute time and financial resources to support its ministries, such as the food pantry and Racetrack Ministry meals.
